On Tuesday, Slacker and ESPN launched ESPN Audio content on Slacker Radio. This marks the first time ESPN Radio content has been available within a personalized context. What really makes ESPN Radio on Slacker stand out is that subscribing sports enthusiasts can program their own custom ESPN station, leading with the teams and sports that interest them the most. For instance, you can customize your Slacker station to always give you Yankees (or Mets) news first. Or if you love soccer but hate American football, you can always have the former but never the latter. Radio Plus and Premium subscribers can also set their stations to include sports updates at the top of the hour. All Slacker listeners now have access to an ESPN station that includes stories, interviews and segments from ESPN Radio. Listeners can enjoy content from many ESPN programs including Mike and Mike in the Morning, SportsCenter and The Herd with Colin Cowherd. The station can be found in the ESPN category on any Slacker application, or at http://www.Slacker.com/ESPN Thursday Slacker Radio announced its availability on Facebook at f8, allowing listeners to tell their story and discover music with their friends in a new social way. In celebration of Facebook availability, Slacker announced “100 Days to Get Personal.” For the next 100 days, Facebook users who add Slacker Radio to their Timeline and enter the promotion on Slacker’s Facebook page (http://www.Facebook.com/SlackerRadio) have the chance to win a variety of life-changing prizes.
