Read about it on Geeky Gadgets, Android Guys. First Orion (PrivacyStar.com) will be in Washington D.C. next week meeting with the Federal Trade Commission to discuss the PrivacyStar service. PrivacyStar subscribers recently hit a milestone: 100,000 consumer complaints filed with the FTC. First Orion's work has received recognition from Arkansas US Senator Mark Pryor as well, including First Orion in a CEO Roundtable in late February. The creative team over at Bizzy (the local business recommendation engine) challenged their Dallas Community Manager, Elysa, to identify her top 5 Bizzy recommendations for cupcakeries in Dallas. She then had to obtain one specialty of the house, observe and document the aesthetic beauty of the cupcake, note the "enticement of smell factor," determine the "smashability" of each cupcake (by smashing it in her face) and then assess the flavor by sampling what's left on her face. Sound fun or what? And lastly, the team had a huge win with Walt Mossberg and the Wall Street Journal when Walt did a stand alone review of the Peel Universal Control! Go team! |
