Tuesday Peel announced an innovative way to share and connect with your favorite shows like never before. The new and improved Peel 2.0 App features a built in social platform that enables users to share their favorite shows and TV listings via Social News feeds such as Facebook and Twitter. Peel sets itself apart from other traditional TV guides by creating the "ultimate television second screen companion", as said by Greg Lindley - Peel CEO. Peel 2.0 users are now able to sign up within the app simply using their Facebook account. Once connected to Peel Social TV, users will then be able to view their activity feed of recommendations as well as reviews and responses from friends. Enthusiastic viewers can also post recommendations on their activity feed and statuses prompting friends and family to join in on the fun. Not only is it capable of connecting you with your favorite shows and friends, Peel continues to offer its intelligent algorithm-driven TV recommendation system in the new App. Two tiers or sources of recommendations allow for a more comprehensive and personal TV experience. Peel 2.0 is free and available immediately to download from the iTunes App Store.
